waiting for snow

After a few cold days we had a nice one.

Love the girly play time.
I had Abigail try on her snowsuit to make sure she is ready for winter. It still fits from last year, nice! She likes it So much that she wanted to keep wearing it. "I am waiting for snow". (At least one person here is.) We then decided to go outside and ride bikes...my silly girl!
"I am warm but I am waiting for snow."

ONE year ago

ONE year ago,

Our family grew from 3 to four. Rachel sweet Rachel....

Oh sweet little ONE, the year has been absolutely wonderful.

Your ONE little smile brights up our day along with many little giggles and screams.

You are ONE happy little busy bee full of curiosity and joy and cuddles and a love to follow big sissy.

So what else are we supposed to do for ONE baby girl who is turning the big ONE?

Have a party of course! My family joined us today to celebrate Rachel's life.

Rachel's favorite part was probably playing with the balloons and wrapping paper.

Love these girls...

Singing to the ONE year old.
Smiling at her cupcake wondering what to do with it.
Sweet Rachel dug into her cupcake and finished it.

But before the night came to a close I had to get a picture with my Sweet little family. I have the best ONE year old a mother could ask for.
Thank you Lord for my sweet Rachel. Happy Birthday little ONE.

out fishing

My Dad took Abigail and I fishing on their boat. It was cute seeing Abigail hanging out with her Papa. She just couldn't wait to put her fishing line in and kept saying "can I fish yet?"

Once she did start fishing she had fun reeling in the line, over and over again. We helped her watch the line and before long she caught a fish!
My Dad helped her bring the fish in and she was so excited! We all were! She was very intrigued about it and liked watching it flop around. She named him, "rainbow fish".
My Dad was holding the fish for Abigail to see and touch and she loved it. Afterward she was ready to go play so we went for a boat ride and then met Rachel and Nana for a picnic!

apples grow on trees

We have the coolest trees ever! Ha! But really, our apple trees did really well this year and we just picked these beautiful, red, sweet apples off the trees. We had fun watching them grow and change color this summer.

Abigail was Jake's big helper while Rachel and I sat, watched, and munched on apples!

We are ready for baking apple pies, applesauce and whatever else I can think of to do with all our apples!
