My alarm clock in the morning is Abigail's moan letting me know she is awake. Our morning routine is pretty basic with breakfast, seeing Daddy off and getting her dressed. At that point I have the "must have hot shower" feeling going through my body. Abigail joins me in the bathroom where she gets out her "busy bathroom box". This is what our bathroom looks like after I am done getting ready for the day:

tongue curls
On the late night shows they sometimes have silly human tricks on. I think that Abigail would qualify for going on the show. Except it's not silly but just plain adorable. She loves to curl her tongue. She has been doing this even before she learned to sit up.

valentine loves
Our Valentine's Day was relaxing and nice to spend as a family. After church we had a big breakfast at our house with some family and friends. Later we stayed around our house and played outside. It's warm enough to play with bubbles, water and put on sunscreen. I am also seeing that Abigail will need some new summer clothes. She sported a short skirt that wasn't so short last fall!

special moments
As a Daddy, Jake has a very special connection with Abigail. It's one that will be totally unique even after the new baby comes. They have their special moments together that only they have. We eat most of our meals together. It is a blessing that Jake goes to school so close to home. This morning Abigail ate her breakfast early however even on those morning she will still sit with her Daddy.

Jake's birthday
Birthday's are fun. Even when you get older like Jake and I. On his actual birthday Jake's dinner consisted of his favorite carry out pizza, Barros. The next day we had dinner with some of the family and ate his favorite pumpkin spice cake. Did you know that canned pumpkin is hard to find right now? But thanks to Vonda Jake's birthday was saved.

little bitty news
Guess what?
We are ecstatic about this baby that will make us a family of 4. Life is truly a blessing. Jake and I are full of joy as we pray and think about our new little baby due early September! Seeing and hearing our baby's heart beating was incredible, especially since baby was the size of a blueberry. Now baby is the size of a grape and I am so thankful for His blessing that will also make Abigail a big sister.
We are pleased to introduce the newest member of our family!
