Last week we went to North Dakota to visit Jake's parents. We drove. It was only 600 miles but most importantly the girls did really well. We left at 3 am to help pass the time with sleep. We were so thankful to spend time relaxing and enjoying everyone. And Jake's parents really cherish the time with Grand kids...
Rachel has gotten so good with crawling, climbing and moving around.
Nana Jude got out Jake's grandma Fern's old jewelry.
Oh they had fun. When Abigail saw this picture her comment was..."She kept saying 'this is a nice bead.' Why?" 
Jake's brother and cousin Cyrus came for a couple of days. He and Abigail had a lot of fun playing together.
Playing in the big sand box was a highlight.
We spent as much time outside as possible. Abigail loves, loves being on the swing with her papa Wayne or Daddy. Rachel also liked swinging and had her sweet smile on. We are really looking forward to the warmer weather!
Back inside we played.
By the last day Rachel finally warmed up to Papa and let him hold her for longer than 45 seconds (even when I was in the room).
We will see you again in June. Thanks for a great time!!

Such cute pics! I'm so impressed you already posted them! You're on the ball!! So thankful the drive went as well as it did...can't imagine what long days those were for you guys though! Worth it though so have such great time with family!
The house is so quiet! There is no little giggles and no spit-up! It was so fun to have you home. thanks for making the effort to drive all that way. It was an incredible week. Abigail you look outstanding in all those beads. They will be here for you next time you come. Love you...Nana and Papa
Oh I'm so happy you had a great time! I love the picture of Abigail with her new beads. My grandma used to let me do that same thing, and I still remember it :). So special!
