Happy Halloween!
This weekend we had fun carving our pumpkin. Abigail was all about getting in and helping Jake out. She decided that our pumpkin needed a sad face. Rachel was all about putting the seeds in her mouth and was super excited about what we were doing.
Later we put our sad-faced pumpkin outside and the girls just couldn't leave it.

We also spent time at my parent's. We played dress up and play dough and the girls got special treats.
Abigail was eating her cupcake and got some frosting on her nose. If we were at Sprinkles she would order a frosting shot and skip the cupcake!
At our church we had a fall festival. It was really great and the girls had a blast. They had games set up around the room and the kids got prizes and candy.

On Halloween we had two ladybug twins running around. "Hailey and Bailey" just loved flying around passing out candy & pretending.
We stopped at a couple of houses to trick or treat. It was about 50 degrees when the sun was still out but we still got about 150 kids. Jake was out with our fire pit warming up the kiddos.

When bed time came we had 2 tired ladybugs but Abigail was still in dress up mode so she continued to wear a mask and her glow stick through reading books.

You two lovely bugs are so.......cute. What a wonderful way to celebrate Halloween. Your costumes were adorable and you made great treat or treaters. It is so much for for us to be together.

Those two girls are so adorable. What a fun time with your family, at church and in your neighborhood. We had lots of trick or treaters last night too because of the nice weather. They were all so cute. Would have loved to have Rachel and Abigail come to our door too. One little boy (about 2) walked up on our porch and threw up. I think he was on candy overload. It was Chris Samuelson's kid. What a hoot. Love you guys. Nana Jude
Jude, that is so funny! Abigail is always talking about going to North Dakota.
Such a fun post!! No wonder the pumpkin needed a sad face if it was vomiting!! Ha! And that's the same ladybug costume that Addysen wore for her Noah's Ark parade at preschool this year! Your girls looked ADORABLE in their matching costumes! Love it! And I still can't get over how many trick or treaters you get...so fun!
Love your recap of the festivities :). Your little bugs are precious! I love that your church hosted a Halloween carnival thing for the kids. I can't believe you got 150 kids, that's crazy fun!
