We had a great time with my family. The girls were showered with Christmas gifts and they had a great time opening the many surprises. It was nice that both my sisters were able to come to my parents this year. We had fun talking and catching up with each other.Scenes from Christmas with Jake's family:

We loaded up the van and drove to North Dakota to spend time with Jake's family. We were so happy that all of Jake's siblings & their families were able to be together for a few days. It was great seeing the cousins play together. They don't see each other that often so this was really fun. Some fun highlights of our trip was putting together the puzzles & talking with each other, celebrating Christmas, playing games & sharing toys, swinging outside bundled up in the snowsuits, and cupcake decorating contest.

The house sure is quiet but the memories are fresh. What a great Christmas. For sure a time of sharing...presents, food, cookies, flu, laughs, books, and oh so many squeals! Loved it. We have reclaimed our house now and are ready to move on to the next adventure. Love you guys. The ND Nana and Papa
Loved all the pics! How fun you guys got to have Christmas with both of your families despite the sickness! So glad you guys survived the long drive and had such special time with Jake's family.
