After the long Wisconsin winter we were ready for some warmer temps and time away.
Our trip was so much fun. It was full of spending time with grandparents, more family, our best friends, fun activities, parks, being outside in shorts, good food, shopping, more eating and more shopping!

Here are some pictures of a few of the things we did.
Arizona Commemorative Air Force Museum: Jake loves airplanes so he totally loved looking at these cool planes. But we all did enjoy looking and learning about the old warbirds.
Rachel looked tiny next to the plane.
We also went to the zoo: The animals were out & active and the girls loved it.
Feeding the giraffes is always a highlight! Rachel's expression was so cute. She didn't know what to think. Abigail could have fed them all day. She was all smiles.
Another cool place was Organ Stop Pizza: This is a pizza/pasta restaurant that also entertains with a huge organ. I loved it. Abigail especially loved the music too and Rachel danced along too.
Fountain Hills: We use to like driving up to Fountain Hills and decided to go up there too. The ducks were happy to see us and the fountain is so cool to watch.
Towards the end of our trip between the different activities and time change, Rachel was ready to go home. So to keep the peace lunch came while watching a video!

So fun to see those pics! So glad you guys had such a great time...but I guess that's no surprise given where you went!! :-) Love that pic of Abigail feeding the giraffe with her own tongue out...ha! And that picture of Jake with the girls at Fountain Hills is giving me memories of pictures you had with a much smaller Abigail...and no Rachel...and the same place! Crazy how fast these kiddos grow! Wish we were all still back there doing these things together...and living down the street from each other!
Love all the photo's. The one of Abigail feeding the giraffe is so cute especially with Abigail sticking out her tongue. I also like the one of Rachel standing on her toes. SO Cute.........So happy you had a wonderful vacation! Love, Mom
What a great time. We just loved being able to spend some time with you guys and the road trips and eating and babysitting were great. Hopefully we can do it again. Always fun to make memories with you!!! Nana Jude
Oh, it was so fun to have you guys in the same state again! I almost forgot that you don't live here anymore! We miss you tons already & are so glad for all the fun we had together!
